This bad decision leads to many others that further complicate her and her parents’ and siblings’ lives. This skillfully illustrated graphic novel follows the life of the Krosoczka family and the turmoil they suffer when their older daughter, Leslie, starts experimenting with drugs at the age of 13. It’s also a very timely and relatable title in which the author/illustrator shares his personal story of growing up within a family battling drug addiction.
